Several entries also follow reports of local crimes relating to the murder of one woman, Mary Ellen Babcock, and the stabbing of another woman, Frances Fitzgerald. Diary accompanied by photo of Frances Fitzgerald. Diary recorded in a "Clipper Diary" which includes a large Almanac section (pages 192-296).
