Participants of the We the People Community Quilt project were asked to answer a number of questions regarding their quilt square.
1. What does your square represent? I was born in Buffalo and I love nature, especially Reinstein woods. I also love ballet. The woods have lots of colors of brown and greens and blue skies.
2. Why did you choose these symbols? When I was born, my mom and grandparents took me to the woods in my strollers. I love the woods and the animals that live there. I am a mini ballerina and I love to dance. I love the outdoors and dance.
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel? The freedom of being in nature
