Participants of the We the People Community Quilt project were asked to answer a number of questions regarding their quilt square.
1. What does your square represent? Natural rights that we all have regardless of culture, nationality, or politics
2. Why did you choose these symbols? My great grandparents escaped religious persecution in Europe and found freedom to practice their religion in America
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel? Unity in place of division
