Participants of the We the People Community Quilt project were asked to answer a number of questions regarding their quilt square.
1. What does your square represent? "Red sky at night, sailors delight"
2. Why did you choose these symbols? Summer nights with my grandmother. She would always say "red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morn sailors be warned." Then we would talk about our plans for the next day.
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel? Nostalgia.
