1. What does your square represent? The square represents the Great Prismatic Lake in Yellowstone National Park. I used various felts and cotton materials to create the layered colors. <br />
2. Why did you choose these symbols? I chose this scene because I went to Yellowstone for the first time this spring. It was awesome to see the legacy of our country&#039;s national park system. <br />
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel?  I hope viewers can recognize Great Prismatic Lake and think about the vastness of our country.]]></dcterms:description>

1. What does your square represent? My square represents how I felt looking at the Statue of Liberty for the first time. I used dark colors to show that it is nightime, and felt to give the square a softer look. <br />
2. Why did you choose these symbols? I chose the Statue of Liberty because the first time I saw it from a ferry, I felt a sense of calm and safety. <br />

1. What does your square represent? The square represents a bit of who we are. At the center Abigail + Eleanor our West Highland West Terriers, are sitting in between Mark&#039;s golf + my books. At the bottom, the tree branches have the flags from our family trees. English, Dutch, German, + Italian on my side + Polish, Bulgarian, Croatian for Mark with an American Flag in the heart in the middle. <br />
2. Why did you choose these symbols? As a historian, the books + the coffee are very appropriate for me. The golf stuff is very Mark. The patriotic symbols show our pride + love for our country + community. <br />
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel?  I hope they feel like they are getting to know more about us. The patriotic colors + the symbols are the very service oriented side of us and the books, golf, and dogs are more the behind the scenes version.]]></dcterms:description>

1. What does your square represent? I used tweed fabric to make bookshelves and cut small pieces of striped fabric to make books. I glued each strip to make realistic shelves. The green border is representative of my dad. The green clouds were cut from sheep-patterned fabric. <br />
2. Why did you choose these symbols? Reading and books in general has been the center of my life since I learned to read, and have since led me to working in a library. My dad, who passed in 2017, was my greatest supporter in my love of books and his memory surrounds everything I do. He encouraged hard work and pride in that work, as well as strong passion and love for what you do. <br />
3. What do you hope viewers notice or feel?  I hope they feel inspired to read a book and visit a library!]]></dcterms:description>
